How on earth did you find the time???

Hi Reader,

Thank you so much for all your encouragement and support for my new website.

I’ve been genuinely bowled over by all your lovely emails and kind words.

(Missed the full announcement? You can read it HERE!)

I'm also super excited to see that TSHP is already ranking on Google!!!

I mean, ok… I'm only ranking for 76 keywords.

And yes… they’re mostly sitting around position 34 😄

But still.

After just one week?

I’ll take that.

(And it’s a nice little reminder that SEO is not dead yet 😉)

How did you find the time?

One question that’s come up a few times this week has been…

“How on earth did you find the time???”

And honestly… I love that question!

Because it looks like I must have added a huge amount of extra work to my already-full plate.

After all, when I started building TSHP, I was already working full time on my other two blogs.

So on paper, there was no obvious “extra capacity” hiding anywhere.

And yet somehow… I built a brand new site from scratch anyway.

Without working more hours.

So what changed?

The truth is actually very simple.

I didn’t find more time.

I just used my time differently.

And I did that simply by applying the principles I teach in 80/20 Blogging.

The secrets of 80/20 Blogging…

In 80/20 Blogging, I teach a simple 4-step approach to getting more done without burning out or spinning your wheels:

1. Identify your 20% tasks
These are your High Impact Tasks. The small number of things that genuinely move the needle.

2. Plan your 20% tasks in properly
Not just “hope they’ll get done”… but schedule them in so they actually get done.

3. Identify and minimise your 80% tasks
These are the Low Impact Tasks that keep you busy… but don’t really move the needle.

4. Radically reorganise your time
So your high-impact work actually gets done instead of being pushed to the bottom of your to-do list every single day.

And that’s exactly what I did…

No magic extra hours.

No late-night marathons.

No massive team.

Just a very intentional shift in how I was spending my time.

And that shift is what made it possible to build an entire new website from scratch alongside everything else.

Happy 80/20ing!

Eb 😊

P.S. If you’ve ever felt like you’re working hard but not really moving forward… You can learn more about what the 80/20 rule is and how to harness it’s power to achieve more while working less here: 80/20 Blogging
