Hi Reader, Imagine creating a brand-new digital product – launching it to your audience – and making over $4,000 on your first launch. Now imagine achieving all of that in under 30 days, while juggling everything else in your business and personal life. That’s exactly what one of my Digital Product Success Academy members, Cristina from No Time For Style did recently! Here’s what she said in the DPSA Community… “Just wanted to share a little recap of my 5-day launch (May 20-24) of my new guide all about shopping your own closet. I ended up selling 437 copies at €9 each!” I am delighted for Cristina, and especially impressed that she went from zero to $4,000 in less than 30 days! But the most valuable part of her story isn’t just the numbers – it’s what she did right along the way. Here are 8 smart strategies Cristina used that you can borrow... 1. Start small – but start strategicallyCristina didn’t wait to create a massive course or signature program. She started with a small, strategic product that solved one clear problem her audience had. The result? A quick win for her audience – and a quick win for her business too! Here’s what Cristina had to say when I asked her what advice she would give someone considering getting started with digital products… “Start simple – but don’t wait too long. Take action. Really get to know your audience: their pain points, their needs, their everyday challenges. That’s where everything starts. From there, you can create a product that speaks directly to them – and that makes all the difference.” I couldn’t agree more! Lesson #1: Small products are powerful when they’re aligned with a specific pain point – and they make perfect first step in your product ladder. 2. Market research is keyCristina’s product was so successful in large part because she did such good market research and took the time to really get to know her audience and their specific pain points… “I created an ebook dedicated to the concept of ‘shop your closet’ – helping women rediscover the potential of what they already own and create fresh, stylish outfits without always buying something new. The idea came directly from a survey I ran with my audience on YouTube and on Instagram. The feedback I received was incredibly rich and helped me not only shape a truly useful product, but also better understand my audience on a deeper level. That insight has allowed me to improve my content across all platforms and start building a more cohesive system that I hope will support the distribution of my digital products in the long run.” Lesson #2: People buy painkillers not vitamins – if you want your product to be truly successful, you need to solve a problem… An how do you find out what your audience’s pain points are? Ask them! 3. Use email as your foundation – and support it with other channelsCristina wrote a solid email sequence – and that was central to her success. But she also kept momentum high with support from other platforms – particularly her YouTube channel. “I published two YouTube videos: one super short just to announce the launch, and another one packed with value, where I only briefly mentioned the offer at the end. That really helped keep momentum going and avoided the mid-launch dip.” Lesson #3: Email is essential – but a little multichannel support (from your blog, podcasts, YouTube, social media and/or collaborations) will reinforce your launch and boost your sales. 4. A deep discount + a hard deadline = big resultsCristina offered her guide at just €9 (€20 off the regular price) for a limited 5-day window AND clearly communicated when the deal would end. That combination of a deep discount + a short deadline made all the difference. She sold 437 copies over those 5 days. “Watching the sales come in was exciting and surprisingly relaxing! After all the work I had done to prepare the launch, it felt amazing to finally sit back a bit, watch the sales come in, and start receiving positive feedback. The step-by-step system I followed made everything smoother and more enjoyable.” Lesson #4: A deadline and a discount are essential if you want to sell digital products successfully. 5. Set up a system for daily salesDigital products don’t sell well outside of a sales ‘event’ – which is why launches work so well… but you can’t always be launching, so what’s the solution? Here’s what Cristina did… “After the launch, sales dropped to almost zero – but I turned the guide into a tripwire at €12 (the full price is €29). Now I’m selling around 4 ebooks a day, which means about €48/day (or around $50).” Lesson #5: Want to keep making sales after your launch ends? Create a tripwire or an evergreen sales funnel so you can keep making sales – on autopilot! 6. Build your product ladder, one step at a timeCristina didn’t stop at an ebook. That small product is just the first step in her bigger business vision. “I’m now working on a mini course related to the ebook, but with a broader, more practical and fun approach. Thanks to the DPSA, I already have the outline and most of the content written – now I just need to find time to record the videos and refine the course structure.” Lesson #6: Your first product is a stepping stone. It gets people over the hardest step in the whole process: from ‘subscriber’ to ‘customer’ – getting a one-time customer to buy again from you is much easier! This is why having a product ladder is so important. 7. You don’t have to do it all alone!Cristina followed the system inside the Digital Product Success Academy – and it worked! “The DPSA gave me a realistic, structured path – something I deeply needed, considering the many moving parts in my daily work. It helped me carve out a feasible workflow and reminded me of all the small but crucial steps that go into a successful launch. Thanks to the DPSA, I was able to structure my funnel and even turn my ebook into an evergreen tripwire once the launch period ended. Often, I’ve felt truly seen in the way you describe the mental processes and invisible obstacles we face as bloggers and creators. That sense of being understood has made a huge difference for me. I had experimented with digital products in the past, but I’d never really taken the time to refine my funnels and all the key pieces needed to sell successfully. Until now, everything felt a bit improvised and not fully integrated. Launching my ebook and tripwire funnel has been such an exciting and empowering experience – and DPSA was a key part of that. The fact that it all came together in just a few weeks still amazes me!” Lesson #7: A proven step–by–step system will save you time, reduce overwhelm, and increase your chance of success. 8. Action beats perfection – every timeCristina didn’t overthink it. She didn’t wait until things were “just right”. She saw this was something that could move the needle in her business – and she went for it. She showed up, did the work, and launched her product – all in just 30 days. “I’m super happy with how it went – and I’m especially grateful to Eb for making the whole process so simple, clear, and actually doable, even for someone like me who already has a million things going on!” Lesson #8: Results come from taking action. Even a small product, launched quickly but in the right way, can change the direction of your business.
